Criterion fine stringed instruments

In a shop near Wellington in northern Colorado, domestic and imported tone woods (quarter-sawn woods, hard and soft that have proven with time and use to be the best for stringed musical instruments) are transformed into fine quality instruments.

Master craftsman Bob Moore is creating guitars, ukuleles and stringed instruments of various descriptions. Some are to customer specs and some are just to be played and shown off. Hopefully some will find their way into someone else’s hands and be taken home.

Bob is also very adept at major or minor repairs both structural and cosmetic. Tasks range from finish matching/restoring, neck resets, refrets, action setups, violin/cello/stand-up bass sound-post resets, to put it back together when it falls off the shelf work, on vintage and recent instruments both acoustic and electric.
